The IPL teams can keep 5 players

The eighth edition of the IPL was held in 2018. Proposals were brought to the auction that no team could hold more than three players in the auction. However, after discussions, finally five players have been allowed to hold.
This decision was made at the meeting of the governing council of the IPL and the appointed governing committee of the Supreme Court in New Delhi on Tuesday. Besides, the maximum cost of the team has been Rs 80 crore.
The differences between the franchisees were the amount of money the team made. Some of the richest franchises wanted the maximum cost of the team to be Rs. 80 crore, some franchises again wanted it to be Rs. 75 crore. Ultimately, the first team's demand was met.

In the case of retaining players, the teams will be able to retain the top three Indian players in the national team, two foreigners, and two Indian players to play in the national team.

After seven years KKR did not have Shakib

Most successful Bangladeshi cricketers in the Indian Premier League (IPL) Shakib Al Hasan and Mostafizur Rahman. The  Newplayers in PSL 2018  teams have got rid of them. But both of them left the team now. Bangladeshi all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan is playing Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) since 2011. Shakib-Mostafijad's auction in January in IPL

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the date of the auction of the popular Cricket Tournament of the Indian Premier League (IPL), 2018. Psl schedule and teams 2018 has been announced. A BCCI official told Cricinfo that many players will take part in the auction, so the auction will be huge. Which will be held in Bangalore on January 27-28. Though considering the first Goa, all the auctions that were held in Bangalore were the same, so the franchises have preferred this place. In the meantime, there was a proposal that no team could hold more than three players before the auction. However, after discussions, finally five players have been allowed to hold.
